Adding a shadow to a figure on an image[html]

Open up your image, which will have the object, and the associated shadow. I used the following image.

Insert on a new layer, the object.

Duplicate the layer. Then click > edit > transform > distort, and bend the duplicated layer in the direction that you want the shadow.

Click the duplicated, distorted layer, and change its opacity. I made mine 22%.
