Tutorial is 30sec long, and is a file size of 1.35mb. It will download in around 2 - 4min, based on your connection.
The most basic way to re-color images. [html] This tutorial deals with the easiest way to re-color any images. You can re-color any image. It can be done with houses, flamingos, anything. In this tutorial it will be water. Firstly, open up Photoshop, and open the water or other image.
Look for the ' healing brush tool ' (by default this is on top of the tool we'll be using). It is the fourth icon down on the left hand side of the tools bar. Select this and hold it down . You should see the following icon, as the third one down.
Select this tool. It is the Colour Replacement Tool . Next, go to your foreground colour. This is going to be the new colour of your image. I made mine a light green. Try to keep the colours in a similar lightness for best effect. Now its just as simple as putting the icon on your image and clicking. Use it like a brush, move it up and down the image to re-color it. This is my progress using the Re-color Tool.
Be careful around areas next to other images. You have to change the brush to a smaller size to be detailed. The good thing about the Colour Replacement Tool, is its ability for its user to be surprisingly rough. You don't need to go slow, for the areas where a large body of the image needs to be re-colored, it can be done fast. Here is my finished result, after a rushed, high brush size attempt.
