Creating a digital zoom with Photoshop CS [html]

A very simple technique.

Here's what the final result will look like.

Firstly, open photoshop. Click File > New > 400x400 (or other size).

Click Filter > Render > Clouds

Click Filter > Pixelate > Mezzotint. Set to Short Lines.

Click Filter > Blur > Radial Blur

Optional Step: Colourising your image.

Click Image > Adjustments > hue/saturation, and in the dialogue box, select "colorize".

Adjust the slider or values to change the colour of your image.
